(CXXXV) ~> Nostalgic Remembrance*

*I take credit for both title locutions as my original idea for proper Bisaya-English equivalence.  This is the only opus I have minted in the vernacular Cebuano Bisaya.  It is an offshoot of my effort to compose a tribute to my second oldest sibling, ten years my senior, on the occasion of his 78th birthday, 28-Aug-2014.  It is a modest product of my effort to celebrate the halcyon days of yore, those good old days which brought us to this, our ever treasured here and now. 
The musical score of this obsession has been the classic Russian folk song dubbed in English as “The Long Road Ahead,” and popularized in the 1970’s by Mary Hopkins as “Those Were the Days, My Friend.”  It has been lyricized in almost every language I can think of to attempt to study.  When I could not find one in Bisaya, I decided to write my own. ~> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3KEhWTnWvE&list=PLjC-YRc2AjQCrjuasSFlgiGXb0DfR_SQG |
